Oddar Meanchey Provincial Department of Tourism, in Collaboration with the Skills Development Programme (SDP) of Swisscontact, Successfully Concluded the "Cooking" Training Course!
Oddar Meanchey Province: From October 6 to 9, 2026, the Oddar Meanchey Provincial Department of Tourism, in partnership with the Skills Development Programme (SDP) implemented by Swisscontact, successfully organized a 4-day complimentary training course on "Foundational Cookery Skills" in Anlong Veng District, with 13 female trainees in attendance. This initiative aimed to enhance technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in culinary arts across Oddar Meanchey Province for local restaurant and eatery staff, disadvantaged youth, and low-skilled workers—empowering them with marketable skills, decent employment opportunities, and sustainable income growth.
Heartfelt congratulations to all graduates on successfully completing the program and receiving their certificates of completion. It is sincerely hoped that the acquired competencies and professional practices will be effectively utilized to foster enterprise development and elevate culinary service standards in the hospitality sector.
