The Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the Skills Development Programme (SDP) implemented by Swisscontact, is pleased to announce the launch of the "HoKa Green" Hospitality Competition. This initiative is designed to recognize and incentivize tourism and hospitality operators who demonstrate exemplary commitment to sustainable waste management and the 3Rs principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
📍 Target Beneficiaries and Eligibility Criteria:
* Business owners, proprietors, or general managers of hospitality establishments (cafés, restaurants/food outlets, and accommodation services).
* Establishments operating within the 12 target provinces: Kratie, Stung Treng, Preah Vihear, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Pursat, Battambang, Pailin, Banteay Meanchey, Oddar Meanchey, Kampong Chhnang, and Koh Kong.
🏆 Awards and Benefits (Total of 52 Awards):
* 🥇 Gold Award (16 Awards): Cash prize of KHR 4,800,000 (~USD 1,200), accompanied by an official plaque of recognition and an honorary certificate.
* 🥈 Silver Award (12 Awards): Cash prize of KHR 3,200,000 (~USD 800), accompanied by an official plaque of recognition and an honorary certificate.

* 90%: Comprehensive technical audit by the Technical Working Group (evaluating waste reduction, reuse protocols, recycling efficiency, and environmental management systems).
* 10%: Verified public evaluation and customer feedback submitted via official online channels.
