Ministry of Tourism Launches the 8th Cohort of the Afternoon Session Professional Bakery Training Program

Under the high auspices of His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and the strategic guidance of Mr. Chuob Ratana, Director of the Tourism Professional Training Department, an official commencement ceremony for the 8th Cohort of the Professional Bakery Training Program was held on the afternoon of February 13, 2026. The event took place at the Meisan Excellence Center, Exchange Square, presided over by Mr. Chek Keo Rorn, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism Vocational Training, with participation from the leadership of Wilmar Marketing CLV (Cambodia), ministerial officials, and approximately 35 trainees.

The Ministry of Tourism Inaugurates Vocational Training Program in Bakery Arts

Under the high-level authorization of His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and following the directives of Mr. Chuob Ratana, Director of the Tourism Professional Training Department, a formal opening ceremony for a complimentary Bakery Training Program was convened on the morning of February 13, 2026. Held at the Meisan Excellence Center within the Exchange Square building in Phnom Penh, the ceremony was presided over by Mr. Sang Chanthou, Deputy Director of the Tourism Professional Training Department. The event was attended by executives from Wilmar Marketing CLV Cambodia, departmental officials, and approximately 35 initial trainees.

The Ministry of Tourism Promotes HoKa Training and the Recruitment of Trainees and Vocational Trainers for the Tourism Sector in Veal Veng District, Pursat Province

On February 11, 2026, under the high authorization of His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, His Excellency Pak Sokhom, Secretary of State and Chairman of the HoKa Steering Committee, alongside Mr. Uy Sotheavy, Vice Governor of Pursat Province, presided over a dissemination and consultative workshop concerning the Hospitality Kampuchea (HoKa) training program. The fundamental objective of this assembly was the strategic recruitment of trainees and vocational trainers across key disciplines, including Front Office operations, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service, Barista skills, Culinary Arts, and Community-Based Tour Guiding.
