On the morning of February 27, 2026, Mr. Chuob Ratana, Director of Tourism Professional Training Department, led a delegation to pay a courtesy call and hold a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Academician Dr. Sok Touch, President of the Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC). The discussion focused on strategic cooperation aimed at promoting and developing the capacity of Cambodian tourism professionals. Key agenda items included the raising of public awareness of tourism vocational skills through "Tourism Podcasts" and the official registration and accreditation of tourism vocational training institutions.

The ceremony was co-attended by Mr. Ngov Seng Kak, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap Province, and Mr. Kong Dara, Training Program Manager at Swisscontact. Held at Sophoas Cooking Class in Chreav Commune, Siem Reap, the event welcomed 40 participants, including representatives from TVET institutions, tourism industry associations, the hospitality sector, and the Cambodia Chefs Association.
