Activities on Days 6 and 7 of the National Trainer Training Course on Hotel Services, conducted under the framework of the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism Professionals (ASEAN MRA-TP), focused on the practical application of training materials developed in accordance with ASEAN standards.
Following the preparation of the training materials, all participants demonstrated their training competencies through group-based teaching practice, utilizing the ASEAN Training Toolbox and applying both theoretical and practical teaching methodologies to their selected Units of Competency. Participants worked in pairs, with each pair delivering a 40-minute training session, which was directly observed, assessed, and evaluated by the instructors.
As a result, all participants demonstrated their capacity to deliver training on knowledge and skills in accordance with ASEAN standards and achieved positive assessment outcomes. Among the 39 participants, 26 were assessed as Outstanding, 11 as Competent, and 2 as having participated in the training programme.
Upon successful completion of the training course, participants will be able to utilize the ASEAN Training Toolbox within their respective institutions to conduct internal training programmes and disseminate the knowledge and skills acquired during the course. This will contribute to strengthening human resource capacity and enhancing the quality of tourism services in Cambodia in alignment with ASEAN standards.
