Siem Reap Province: Mr. Srun Someatra, an official of the Department of Tourism Professional Training of the Ministry of Tourism, successfully completed the Cambodia Hospitality Training (HoKa) Training of Trainers (ToT) course in Barista Skills, conducted from 1 to 4 September 2026.
During the training course, he received both theoretical instruction and practical training in barista skills, covering standard techniques for coffee and beverage preparation, the proper use and maintenance of equipment, as well as professional customer service skills. The knowledge and practical experience acquired through the course will serve as an important foundation for applying and further sharing these competencies with trainees and tourism and hospitality professionals.
The successful completion of this training course demonstrates his commitment and dedication to continuous professional capacity development. It also contributes to strengthening the quality and effectiveness of tourism vocational skills training in Cambodia.
In particular, as a certified trainer, he will be able to contribute to transferring knowledge, technical skills, and practical experience to learners and professionals in the tourism sector. This will support the development of a more skilled, competent, and professional tourism workforce, aligned with labour market demands and the continued growth of Cambodia’s tourism and hospitality industry.
