Banteay Meanchey Province: On the evening of 16 October 2026, Dr. Chuob Ratana, Director of the Department of Tourism Professional Training and Head of the Secretariat of the National Committee for Tourism Professionals, together with Mr. Houn Harb (Tony), Managing Director of P.S Hospitality Group Co., Ltd., presided over the closing ceremony of the training course entitled “Luxury Service: Hotel Service Skills.” The training was conducted from 15 to 16 October 2026 in Poipet City, Banteay Meanchey Province.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Chuob Ratana encouraged all trainees to apply the knowledge and practical skills acquired during the training in their respective workplaces, demonstrating professionalism, ethical conduct, and a strong sense of responsibility. He also underscored the importance of delivering high-quality services in accordance with established standards, maintaining a welcoming and courteous attitude, and responding attentively to guests’ needs in order to enhance guest satisfaction and strengthen the confidence of both domestic and international tourists.
The training course contributed to strengthening the capacities and enhancing the professional competencies of human resources in the hospitality sector. Furthermore, it reinforced collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and the private sector in developing a skilled workforce that responds effectively to actual labour market demands. These efforts are expected to contribute to improving tourism service quality in Poipet City, Banteay Meanchey Province, thereby enhancing the destination’s competitiveness and attractiveness to a greater number of tourists.
