Phnom Penh: On 10 August 2026, Mr. Pharak Chanrattana, an official of the Department of Vocational Tourism Training of the Ministry of Tourism, successfully completed the HoKa National Trainer Training Course in Front Office and Housekeeping, which was conducted from 6 to 11 April 2026.
The successful completion of this training course has contributed to strengthening the knowledge, skills, and competencies of national trainers in designing and delivering vocational tourism training in accordance with professional standards and the practical needs of the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Through this training, Mr. Pharak Chanrattana further enhanced his knowledge, technical skills, and professional attitudes related to Front Office and Housekeeping, as well as his competencies in training methodologies, training planning, and the assessment of trainees’ competencies.
The development of HoKa national trainer capacity serves as a key mechanism for ensuring the sustainability of vocational tourism training and strengthening human capital in the tourism sector. It contributes to developing a highly qualified, competent, and competitive tourism workforce that is responsive to the evolving demands of the labour market.
