Phnom Penh: PSE Hospitality School has received official recognition from H.E. Hout Hak, Minister of Tourism, and has been authorized to operate as a tourism vocational training institution in Phnom Penh, following an inspection and assessment conducted by the working team of the Department of Tourism Vocational Skills Training to evaluate the school’s physical and non-physical infrastructure.
The assessment focused on the availability and quality of training equipment and materials, classrooms, training documents and curricula, practical training facilities, qualified trainers, and other essential requirements to ensure that the school’s training programs meet quality standards and respond effectively to the needs of the tourism industry.
It is noteworthy that PESE Hospitality School is the first institution in Phnom Penh to implement training programs aligned with ASEAN standards with authorization from the Ministry of Tourism. From 2015 to 2025, the school trained a total of 1,012 young people in four hotel service-related skills. In 2026, the school has trained a total of 89 students, comprising 20 students in Front Office, 39 in Culinary Arts, and 30 in Food and Beverage Services.
This official recognition represents a significant achievement for the school and constitutes an important contribution to the Ministry of Tourism’s efforts to strengthen the tourism vocational training system and develop a skilled and competent tourism workforce equipped with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required by the labor market.
Through this recognition, PSE Hospitality School will continue to serve as an important partner in providing vocational training for young people and tourism professionals, strengthening service quality, contributing to the advancement of hospitality standards, and enhancing the competitiveness of Cambodia’s tourism sector.
