Kratie Province: H.E. Hout Hak, Minister of Tourism, together with H.E. Va Thorn, Governor of the Board of Governors of Kratie Province, presided over the official ceremony to launch and disseminate the “Kratie Provincial Tourism Development Plan 2026–2030” and the Certificate Awarding Ceremony for Trainees Who Successfully Completed the Cambodia Hospitality (HoKa) Training Programs.
The significant event was attended by H.E. and H.E. Lok Chumteav, senior leaders of the Ministry of Tourism; H.E., Lok Chumteav, Excellencies, ladies and gentlemen representing relevant institutions and departments across the province; authorities at all levels; members of the armed forces; tourism operators; tourism communities; educational institutions; media and content creators; and trainees. The event brought together approximately 300 participants in total.
On this occasion, H.E. the Minister of Tourism congratulated the 51 trainees who successfully completed a range of HoKa training programs, including Food and Beverage Service, Tour Guide Skills for the Koh Trong Tourism Community, Training of Trainers in Food and Beverage Service, and Housekeeping.
At the same time, H.E. the Minister encouraged all trainees to apply the knowledge and professional skills acquired through the training in their respective businesses and communities with professionalism and strong ethical standards. He further encouraged them to maintain a welcoming smile and provide warm hospitality, while continuously strengthening and developing their competencies in line with the vision of “One Person, One Skill, One Service, One Standard.”
These efforts are expected to contribute to improving the quality of tourism services, enhancing tourist satisfaction, and further strengthening Kratie Province as an attractive tourism destination characterized by quality, standards, and strong competitiveness.
