Banteay Meanchey Province: On the morning of 15 October 2026, under the high-level authorization of H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, Dr. Choub Ratana, Director of Tourism Professional Training Department of Tourism Professional Training and Chair of the Secretariat of the National Committee for Tourism Professionals, together with Mr. Hap Haon (Tony), Chief Executive Officer of P.S Hospitality Group Co., Ltd., presided over the opening ceremony of a training course entitled “Luxury Service: Hotel Service Skills.” The two-day training course is being conducted from 15 to 16 October 2026 in Poipet City, Banteay Meanchey Province.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Director of the Department, the Deputy Director of the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Department of Tourism, representatives of the Provincial Department of Tourism, officials from the Ministry of Tourism, and approximately 40 department heads and employees of P.S Hospitality Group Co., Ltd.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Choub Ratana emphasized the importance of the training in strengthening the capacity of hotel personnel and enhancing their knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes. Particular emphasis was placed on delivering high-quality hospitality services characterized by excellence, courtesy, attentiveness, and adherence to professional standards.
He further highlighted that the development of a competent and professional workforce is a key factor in improving tourism service quality, enhancing competitiveness, and strengthening visitor confidence. In this regard, he encouraged all trainees to actively participate in the training, exchange professional experiences, and acquire new knowledge and practical skills from the trainers. He also urged them to apply the knowledge gained in their respective workplaces, thereby contributing to improved hotel service standards and the sustainable development of Cambodia’s tourism sector.
It is worth noting that, through the Ministry of Tourism’s HoKa Project Management Committee, with the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Department of Tourism serving as its implementing arm at the provincial level, six training courses have already been conducted in Poipet City, These courses have covered a range of professional skills, including front office operations, food and beverage services, housekeeping, cookery, and basic barista skills.

It is a Cambodian company locally owned, managed, and operated by domestic business owners.
