Ministry of Tourism Collaborates to Organize Seminar on "Tourism Education and Career Opportunities"
In collaboration with the Saint Paul Institute and Saint François Private General and Technical High School in Takeo Province, the Ministry of Tourism will convene a specialized seminar titled "Higher Education in Tourism, Vocational Training, and Career Opportunities within the Tourism Sector." This academic forum is scheduled for February 19, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 11:40 AM. The event will be presided over by Her Excellency Vann Sereyroth, Undersecretary of State for the Ministry of Tourism, who will deliver the opening remarks. Additionally, esteemed experts from the Ministry of Tourism will participate as guest speakers to impart technical insights and professional expertise to staff, faculty, and students.
The primary objective of this seminar is to facilitate a strategic nexus between the public sector, private industry stakeholders, and the next generation of professionals. It is designed to enhance the participants' comprehension of the tourism industry’s socio-economic significance, elucidate specialized educational pathways, and outline the requisite professional competencies for successfully navigating career opportunities within this high-potential sector.
