Review of Annual Performance and Strategic Planning for the Tourism Professional Training Department
On the morning of Friday, February 20, 2026, Mr. Chuob Ratana, Director of theTourism Professional Training Department, chaired an internal consultative meeting. The session convened officials from the Tourism Professional Training Department, the Secretariat of the National Committee for Tourism Professionals (NCTP), and the Secretariat of the HoKa Steering Committee. The primary objective was to evaluate and reflect upon the institutional achievements of 2025 and January 2026, while concurrently formulating the operational framework for the first quarter of 2026.
The assembly conducted a comprehensive review of key progressive milestones, including:
1. Capacity Building: Outcomes of professional development initiatives for tourism experts.
2. Digital Education: Assessment of online tourism vocational training programs.
3. Certification Mechanisms: Progress regarding the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) framework.
4. Employment Promotion: Organization of Tourism Career Fairs and professional demonstrations.
5. Competency Competitions: Preparations for National and ASEAN-level skill competitions.
6. Quality Assurance: Accreditation and re-accreditation of tourism vocational training institutions.
7. Policy Development: Formulation of legal instruments and supporting documentation to enhance vocational education standards.
