Training Activities on Days 6 and 7 of the National Trainer Training Programme in Hotel Services under the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism Professionals (ASEAN MRA-TP)
Following the development of training materials aligned with the ASEAN standards, all participants demonstrated their instructional competencies through group teaching sessions. They effectively utilized the ASEAN Training Toolbox and applied appropriate pedagogical approaches that integrated both theoretical instruction and hands-on practical training in delivering the selected competency units.
Participants worked in pairs, with each team delivering a 40-minute teaching session. Their performance was observed, assessed, and scored directly by the master trainers against the established training and assessment criteria.
Overall, all participants successfully demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and instructional competencies required to deliver training in accordance with the ASEAN MRA-TP competency standards, achieving commendable performance throughout the assessment. Upon completion of the programme, participants will be equipped to utilize the ASEAN Training Toolbox to conduct competency-based training and internal capacity-building programmes within their
respective institutions.
